At 1K Brown Books, we are dedicated to improving literacy among brown, black, and underrepresented children from newborn to age 6. Our mission is to empower young minds by sharing books that are specifically written for brown and black children, authored by brown or black authors. We believe that every child deserves to see themselves reflected in the stories they read and to have access to diverse narratives that celebrate their unique backgrounds.
