About the Author
An author and business owner, Della Owens’ goal is that brown children are exposed to STEAM from an earlier age and provided opportunities to grow in the areas of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.
This initiative was born from a lack of brown representation in the areas of STEAM and the shortage of STEAM learning tools for children under the age of 10. Ms. Owens aims to nurture the curiosity of readers, preparing them to become leaders and establish sustainable businesses in the areas of STEAM.
Ms. Owens is working on additional books and educational resources providing further education in the areas of STEAM.
